Milestone...

Luci took her first unaided steps last night. Two and a half steps and then fell in my lap grinning so big I thought her face was gonna split. She's taken probably ten so far today. She made Brad and I both whoop when she stood up from the floor without any help and walked toward the stairs...about three steps before falling. She was very pleased with herself and Brad and I both rushed to scoop her up and cheer for her. The thing I loved about that one is that no one was encouraging her to try it that time. She just did it 'cause she could. I love watching babies figure that one out...doing things for the sheer joy of doing them. It makes my heart hurt, in a good sorta way. Yay Luci!!!
