Oct. 9th, 2003 04:14 pmI find The Wiggles rather bizarre. I have a very hard time understanding why my three children will sit mezmerized by it for an hour. Only Mari will even attempt the dances. Zoe, my couch potato, just sits with her mouth half open or sucking away at that disgusting pacifier. Geez, I hate that thing. Never give your babies a pacifier, my friends. Of course, I swore I wouldn't either, and I now have two pacifier addicted babies. Zoe even has a love song for her pacifier. She has, since she began talking, called her pacifier "boppys" I don't have any idea where she came up with that. My mother always sang Zoe the song from "Bye, Bye Birdie" called "We love you, Conrad", only she substitued Zoe's name for Conrad. One day when Zoe was crying for her "boppys" I playfully sang it substituting "boppys" for Conrad. Now she insists I sing "wuv, bobbys" every night! Isn't that warped. What am I doing as a mother? I think I'm just turning my children into freaks letting them watch The Wiggles and sing love songs to inanimate objects.
