At the grocery store today, Mari decided to introduce us all to the check out lady. She was soooo polite!

"Hi! My name is Maria, this is Zoe, this is Luci, and that (pointing to me) is Dama. I'm four years old. What's your name?"

The lady was suitable charmed! Hehe! It was too adorable, too smart, too funny...I do not have the words! She is so social! How cool is that? *I* have a social child!!

Oh, 'nother funny.

We took Jesse (our dog) into the vets office for a Bortatella vaccine because she is spending the next two weeks in a kennel while we are gone. The vet tech took Jesse's temp before giving her the shot. Zoe watched this with a bit of concern on her face and then leaned over, put her elbow on my shoulder (I was kneeling down, holding onto Jesse) and she said "I think Jesse is disturbed." You should have seen the vet tech's face! She started laughing and said "That is a big word! How old is she?" When I said she was three, she looked totally shocked. I guess I don't think of "disturbed" as a big word, but Brad has told me more than once that I "talk like book", so I guess she comes by it honestly.
