I just thought this was kind of funny and want to get it down before I forget. The girls have been bickering non-stop for weeks now. Everytime I turn my back to them (and frequently when my back is not turned and I'm watching them very closely) they snatch toys from each other, yell at each other, are rude to each other, and even hit and kick each other. I know life has been in an upheaval lately and we are trying to get back to normal and that will help. But it is getting really old. All three of them seem to antagonize each other on purpose. Whatever toy one girl has, the other two immediately want it. I'm so tired of the phrase "BUT I WANT IT!" I could scream. So...

Yesterday, I did. Zoe yelled "I want it!" to Mari and Mari yelled "No! I want it!" and Luci was already crying about it, and I screamed over the den "Do you know what *I* want!?!"
They all three stopped dead in their tracks and went silent. Zoe stared at me for a second to see if I really wanted an answer. I repeated, quietly, "Well, do you know?"
Zoe hesitated and then said "For us to quit fighting?"
"Yep." I answered.
"Oh" Zoe said.
"Okay" Mari said
"Yes mum" Luci said (I love it when she says this. She has always pronounced "ma'am" as "mum". It is so so so cute!)

And they quit. They were total angels to each other....for about an hour. It was just so funny to see them try to do "what mommy wants" for a little while. To turn the tables on them for a second. They are too cute to stay irritated with for very long.
