Okay, well, this is it. I think we can call Luci potty trained now. At least daytime potty trained. Yessssss!!! *punching the air repeatedly" Yes! Yes! Yes!

We missed church today. Long story, but it was a torturously long night. Everyone has colds. No one slept well. And Luci decided she wanted to go sans diaper at bedtime, and, of course, wet the bed. Liturgy started at 9am instead of 10am because our church is having their Greek Festival this weekend. We just plain overslept. Ugh.

But, once everyone was up and moving, we all discovered we were in fairly good moods. So, because the season is almost over and we've not taken advantage of our season passes as much as we wanted to, we went to Sea World. It was really a lot of fun. The reason I think we can officially call Luci daytime potty trained is because this is the seventh day of only panties during the day and we were gone from the house for over five hours and she did not have an accident. In fact, at one point she said she needed go and was doing the potty dance and holding herself and we were FAR from a bathroom. I tossed her in the stroller and jogged to the nearest bathroom, constantly saying "Please, don't wet your pants. We'll be there in just a minute, I promise." And she did it! She made it to the potty with not even a tiny leak. I know there will be accidents still. Little people just do that and Mari and Zoe had accidents every once in awhile for a year after I called them potty trained. But this is a huge relief. I know, especially with Luci, this just had to be on her terms. I just had to arrange things so it was a lot more convenient for her to go in the potty and let her decide. And she did, finally. So, yeah. I'm a happy camper.
