Conversations in my world.

In the car, 12:30pm today
Zoe: And one time when I was sick, Mari wanted to watch a movie, but you let me pick the movie because I was sick.
Me: Zoe, it amazes me what sticks in your head.
Mari: (giggling) Zoe, do you have sticks in your head?
Luci: Sticks in your head! Ahahahahaha!
Zoe: NO! I don't have sticks in my head!
(Mari, Luci and I are all laughing at this point.)
Zoe: Stop it! It's not funny! I don't have sticks in my head!
Me: Okay, okay. Zoe doesn't think it is funny, so lets drop it.
(Silence for about thirty seconds)
Mari: Mommy, if I had a stick in my head would it hurt?
Luci: Sticks in your head! Ahahahahaha!
Mari: Who has sticks in their head? Ahahahahaha!
Zoe: Nooooooo!

And I wonder why I feel slightly insane most of the time.
