We had lots of socializing this weekend. We ended the weekend yesterday with a trip to Sea World with two other couples and their four children. It was a lot of fun. All of us (our family of five, I mean) rode the log ride. Those little drops gave even me a thrill, so I was amazed at the varying responses we got from the girls. Mari had ridden this once before with daddy and swore she would never ride it again, but when she saw that all the rest of us were going, she ran to join in. She said she liked it afterward, but also admitted to crying a little bit. Zoe was desperate to ride it. She had refused to ride with her daddy in the past and been sorry when Mari and daddy returned, so this time she was ready. She was asking about it the minute we walked into the park. She however, was terrified by the drops and cried pretty hard. Her little heart was beating like a rabbit according to her daddy who was holding her. Luci rode with me. I had never intended to take her on the ride, I was going to stay behind with Mari and her, but she got very upset when daddy was going and wanted to go too, and he couldn't handle them both, so Mommy had to go and that is how poor Mari got roped into it (Mari could have stayed with the other ladies and the babies, but she didn't want to do that). Luci took the whole thing quite in her stride. She got a thrill out of the last drop and never got upset, but she didn't laugh either and didn't particularly like getting wet. I enjoyed getting wet actually. It was 85 degrees yesterday and sunny. I was HOT.

Today should be a calmer and slower day. The girls had brown rice farina hot cereal with honey and cinnamon for breakfast and are playing together in the playroom. The weather changed and it is cold today, so I have to go find some warmer clothes as they are begging to go outside.
