(no subject)

The girls aren't getting a really big gift from us this year. I just couldn't come up with a good one. We thought about bigger bikes for the Mari and Zoe, but when we eventually realized that wasn't such a good idea. There is really no where to ride them. The street in front is too busy and dangerous. Right now they ride their little bikes and trikes out on the back veranda, which is huge, but bigger bikes wouldn't work there. So, I think their gonna have to wait on that one. I never did come up with a "big" gift for Luci. And when I started thinking about one big gift for all three of them, like we got last year with the dollhouse, I just couldn't come up with anything. I may go look for a playroom table and chairs set for them still, but I don't know. So...they are getting several small gifts which I'm pretty excited about.

Each of them is also getting a fairy doll made by the very talented textile_junkie. Mari is getting a map of the US floor puzzle, Zoe is getting a set of preschool tanagrams, and Luci, I *think*, is getting a Mr. Potato head. Brad brought home Darth Tater one day, a long time ago, and Luci is the only one that ever plays with it mostly just taking it apart and putting it back together. She needs some parts that are not black and associated with the most well known villian of sc-fi.

The stocking issue has been resolved. I will not be doing stockings this year. I will leave that one for Grandma. This gives me a bit more leeway. I think I might pick up a pair of PJs or something for each of them too and then I will be done, done, done. Hooray!
