Someone over on orthodoxchat.com posted this quote from Frederica Matthews-Green's book Gender: Men, Women, Sex, and Feminism in a discussion about women's roles in the Orthodox Christian Church. I think it is a wonderful quote and now I have to read the book I think. She does such a good job of putting into words some of my wordless feelings. The quote is behind the cut.
