(no subject)

I got my hair cut and colored again yesterday. I guess I'm going to start trying to keep it this way. Colored, I mean. No more gray for me. Brad and I worked it into the budget. He didn't even flinch. I guess he realizes, unlike most of the woman we know and all of his friends wives, I don't spend much on my "appearance". I don't buy makeup or get manicures or pedicures, etc. I was surprised that he didn't flinch at how much it would cost for me to keep my hair colored. I'm not willing to do it myself...at least not yet. Maybe eventually. So this is a lot of money I feel like I'm spending on myself these days between Curves and my hair. I actually badly need to buy some more makeup...even though I wear it about once a month, I still keep it around for "special occasions". But I'll wait on that. I'm feeling pretty wierd about the hair and gym already.

The girls spring/summer wardrobes are complete for the most part. I really only bought for Maria again. Although I did buy two more dresses for each of the other girls for church as I'm really enjoying having them match or at least coordinate when they are dressed up. So they each have three spring/summer church dresses now. Shopping for my girls is way too much fun. Seriously. It never occured to me before I had kids that I would find this much pleasure in dressing them. Too bad it will only last a couple more years and then they will want to pick out all their own clothes and start throwing fits over having to wear hand-me-downs.

I've checked a lot of stuff off my Motivated Moms list today. I'm going good. Can't sit here for much longer or I'll lose momentum.

By the way, I sincerely apologize to my entire flist for my horrible lack of comments lately. I'm reading...I've just become really, really bad at commenting. But, I know what you all are up to (at least what you choose to write about) and am praying for you all.
