The girls have played so hard together this morning and been fairly good to each other too. They've trashed their room, the playroom, and the entryway (I've managed to protect the livingroom) with their cars, boats and trains built of pillows and chairs, elaborate lego creations, and zoos using every small doll and animal toy they own. Baby dolls are scattered in various stages of dress in several different rooms. Stuffed animals are having tete a tetes everywhere I look. I keep thinking of those moms who so tightly control with what and when their children can play at any given time...I know their houses stay a lot less cluttered, but I have a hard time imagining that the children get all the creativity they could out of all the different toys they own. Not that I'm knocking it. Brad, I'm sure, would prefer they played with one type of toy at a time and put it all away before moving onto something else. But "cross toy play" happens so much in this house, how do I know when the little plasitc animals are done hanging out with the Little People, you know? I figure they are "done" with the toys when I say they are done and we need to pick up for daddy's arrival. More work all at once, but what glorious adventures they all have in the meantime!

Currently they are all "resting" on the couch watching Cinderella. Luci especially needed some rest. Thought she is the squirmiest one at the moment. She just can't wind down easily, poor thing. I'm ready for a nap myself. I have a lovely cold and my throat hurts a lot. Too much to do for a nap though...so what am I doing? I'm online. BAD!
