Mari's preschool is over on Thurday. They will have a picnic in the park. All three girls are very excited about this. Mari has been so big and funny and school-ageish lately. I can't believe I have a child this old. I just want to bottle her essence right now and keep it forever before her precocious sweetness wears off and she turns into a moody preteen. I'm afraid to blink.
Zoe is into privacy lately. No one is allowed to be in the bathroom with her anymore. She no longer says "I need to go potty", she just announces to the room at large "I need some private time!" and locks herself in the bathroom. I've asked her not to lock the door, since it makes me really nervous. What if she fell off the toilet or something! But she forgets in her desperation to keep Luci out of her "private time".
Luci has been so amazing lately. Really trying hard not to flip out. She actively tries to communicate with me instead of flying into rages. I know I've said all of this before, but it still amazes me to see such progress. She had a pretty bad night last night, but is in a good mood today. Her pretend games are so intense and vivid and detailed. I just love listening to her play.
Trying to sign the girls up for swim lessons. The only YMCA that offers swim lessons near enough to us is downtown and I don't really want to go there. I'm looking into some private tennis club that offers swim lessons that aren't too outrageouly expensive. I've called several other places too, but the cost is prohibitive. Hopefully this tennis club will pan out.
