I have 11 adults and 12 children coming to my house in three hours. I'm already exhausted. Why can't I just keep my house clean enough for company all the time instead of killing myself cleaning the day or two before people come over?
I managed to go to Curves on Thursday and this morning. I like the local Curves a lot. They are set up quite a bit differently than the one I went to in TX and I really like it. I hope I can find ways to continue making this happen.
Our days are getting so full. Tuesday is the only day of the week we don't have any classes or places we have to be. I'm enjoying being somewhat busy. I hope I can keep everyone's schedule straight though. I'd really like to do some stuff with the local homeschool group, but I'm a little concerned about getting too busy. I know other people have a lot more going on in their lives, with work and school and kids activities and church stuff. But I have never wanted to be one of those people and it is absolutely essential that Brad and I have down time together more than once or twice a week right now. So...can't get too busy. I'm already finding it hard to get dinner ready on time (before 7pm) several nights a week. Time to break out the crockpot again I think. I need some good crockpot recipes. I keep trying stuff I find online and it never goes over well. I especially need vegetarian crockpot stuff. Any ideas?
Oh yeah! We finally got BSG season 2.5 from Netflix (well, it just came out on DVD) and we watched the first two episodes last night...the last one of season 2.0 and then the first of 2.5. We have to get them watched before season 3 starts on October 6th! We've never had the sci-fi channel before so we are behind the rest of the world. I can't believe how awesome that show is. It is just fascinating and deep and rich and...I love it! I rarely find an actual TV show or movie that can engross me like a good book, take me into the characters psyches and fully develop the storyline with all the foreshadowing and stuff. I'm just amazed at the cinematography every episode. That show is amazing and I would love to shake the hands of the actors and directors and art directors and costume designers, etc. Very cool. I can't wait to watch another episode tonight.
