I'm going to get to pics of Luci' bday here soon, but it takes twice as long without the lovely insert button and I'm just not up to it at the moment.
Luci brought home the cutest Christmas card she "made" at preschool. It was her handprint on the front made into a Christmas tree with a star sticker at the top. Then inside it was stamped with holiday greetings and she had written her name herself. Her L is upside down, the U looks like a Y because it has a funny little line sticking out of the bottom, the C looks about right, and the I is perfect. It is adorable. I love it so much. I used to think my mom was just pretending when she made a big deal over the silly stuff we would give her as gifts. Now I know she wasn't. Somehow it really is special.
I need to get to the bedtime routine now, but I just had to say I cannot believe how warm it is here! The house is stifling and we've had to open all the windows to cool it off. I think it was over 70 today. Yikes. And I was hoping there would be snow here...
