I'm a sucker for patchwork. I am also a sucker for pillowcase dresses. I found this website, Prim and Sassy Cottage Creations, and I love these. For Christmas, a skirt for me, pillowcase dresses for the girls with a nice long sleeved shirt and bloomers? What do you think? Brad says they are too...bold. I think that is code for obnoxious. Be honest. Are they too much for our holiday apparel? I was thinking of taking a family picture in them for our Christmas cards. Put Brad in a red shirt or sweater and slacks. Too much? Should I go simpler? I wonder if she has anything not so...bold. Heh.

Well, nobody said anything bad about the dresses. I'm sure some of you (*cough* altarflame *cough*) just didn't say anything even though they are not your cup of tea. Hehe!

So, given I got only postive feedback and Brad rethought his position, and I personally ADORE them, I bought them. I can't believe how low this woman's prices are for these. I hope they are decent quality. We'll see I guess. I'm excited! I figure that with the sizes I bought they should be able to wear them as dresses next year also, and then when they get too short for dresses, I can put pretty pants under them and use them as shirts. That is the wonder of pillowcase dresses. They make great little tops too. So, maybe three Christmases at least out of them!
