Mar. 31st, 2008 11:28 amBrad is stuck for a few days in transition and bought some internet access. So we've been chatting on yahoo IM. It is really fun. I've forgotten what it was like to flirt with my husband over the internet. We've haven't done that since college. Heh. He didn't have that kind of access to the computers and internet last time he was gone. So this is good thing. Bad part is I stay up too late to chat with him. We were on at 1am last night. This isn't helping my insomnia. Oh well. At least it gives me something to DO while I'm not sleeping.
Sort of funny story....
Zoe was mad last night because she didn't want to go to bed, so she asked me if I wanted to see how hard she could stomp her foot. She said she was going to break the floor. I answered "Sure, just don't hurt yourself" (I'm so unsympathetic. She was horribly disappointed that she couldn't get a rise out of me.) Anyway, Luci heard this and wanted to get in on the action, so before Zoe could break the floor, Luci stomped her foot down as hard as she could. And promptly collapsed on the floor screaming. She was writhing and shrieking and wouldn't let me touch her foot and wouldn't move it and for a few scary seconds I thought she had broken it. But when she calmed down I saw she could move it and it wasn't swelling and the pain was receding, so I concluded she bruised it and possibly jammed it. But after putting ice on her heel, I had to go sit in the bathroom and laugh at her. When I started to laugh at her where she could see and hear she began crying again. So I had to hide. Too funny. That child is just...different from the rest, ya know? Incidentally, Zoe never did stomp HER foot.
