Sep. 15th, 2008 09:00 amI dreamed I had a baby last night. Very vivid. It was a boy. I dreamed I went to visit a monastery and gave birth there and surprised Brad with the baby when I got home. In the dream, I hadn't even known I was pregnant. I named the baby Miles Anders. Weird, huh? I have no clue where that name came from. But the baby....ah, the baby. I can still see him so clearly. Dark hair, wrinkled skin, curly toes, eyes tightly closed. I can almost smell him. Wow. I wonder when that will fade.
It was a somewhat long weekend. It rained all weekend. Soccer games were all canceled. We were bored. My Grandma is sick again and miserable. Mom took her to the ER again yesterday. They sent her home, which I guess is good. I'm scared for her though. She is just NEVER well anymore. Hasn't been for months. It is so hard to see her suffer like this.
The new hermit crabs seem to be doing well. I found this blog: www.naturallycrabby.com. It is awesome for info on hermit crabs. It satisfies my need to know EVERYTHING I can about these funny little beasties. I was happy to see that they might eat the blood worms I've had in my freezer since the tadpole days. I hated to throw those away. I think I find the new hermies about as interesting as the girls do. I'm now wishing we had a bigger home for them. I thought this big plastic thing would be big enough, but it really isn't. We ended up with four of them. Two survived the original tragedy and we bought two more when we thought two of the originals were dead. The two newer ones are a lot bigger and really need more space. But that will have to wait until I'm sure they are all going to live.
Okay, must start life today. I'm feeling a little anxiety about all we must do today. GAH!
