I do not think I can teach my children Greek, Latin, AND Spanish (especially since I don't know any of those languages). But I can't choose which to start with either. They all seem very important. Of course, I've gone through my life without any of them just fine. The only one that I have been caused any grief by not knowing is Spanish. And Maria needs that for heritage. Which makes me think that is where we should start. But Greek! Oh I want them to know Koine(sp?) Greek! And Latin will make the study of so many other languages make so much more sense, even our own English. I'm so torn.

Perhaps they can learn them all. Just not right now. Not next year. :P And maybe one of my girls will have a gift for languages, unlike me, and enjoy it and continue learning even when the rest of us fall away. I guess I just have to choose one and start there.

Any opinions? Or recommendations for curriculum to teach them?
