I'm glad the trip is shaping up to be OK despite the diverticulitis. My mom has that and I know it is NO FUN. Your poor FIL! What bad timing for him (as if there's every a good time for that...)

I think Annie is going to grow into Luci as far as bravery and stuff. That girl knows no fear, except "thundirt." :)
