Anyone have a recipe with some protein for a kid friendly finger food that is meat free, gluten free, dairy free? Nuts are okay.

Yes, ridiculous. This is for Maria's Half Birthday party on Friday (fyi her birthday is on December 24th, impossible to have a "kid" party). She is having a pool party, loosely luau themed. Doing fruit kabobs and a pasta salad (gluten free) that is hawaiian themed (pineapple, sugar snap peas, carrots, cucumber). Also cake and ice cream of course (we'll have some gluten free cupcakes and coconut milk ice cream available for those that need them). I want some protein available though so the kids don't die.

If I buy the right nuts, my kids will tear them up...Back To Nature makes these bagged nuts (that are like FIVE DOLLARS A BAG) called "Tuscan Herb Blend" and my children TEAR into them and destroy them in a single sitting. They are just so good! None of my kids except Elise and Ananda will eat raw nuts, and it's hit or miss with just roasting them...though now that I think about it, I think salted sunflower seeds and honey roasted peanuts are also usually big hits with kids. This is assuming you are NOT contending with nut allergies! If it were me I would probably do things like that, and surround peanut butter with baby carrots and call it a day.
