mommydamaThe extreme disappointment about not getting to take a couple of Tina's kittens home led to a search this week for kittens. I discovered quickly that either people wanted way too much money (for pure bred kittens) or they wanted the kittens gone yesterday. It means I have ended up having to make up my mind too quickly. So...we are getting a kitten tomorrow and hopefully a friend for her in the next few days. I got my heart set on a pair, but it seems to be hard to find a male and female pair. Here is a pic of the girl kitten. Her name is going to be Cleopatra (Cleo for short). Can you tell who we've been reading about in history?
She was mama weaned, but is still only eight weeks old. It is weird how desperate people are to get these "unwanted" kittens out of their homes. And how fast they go. Anyway, here is one kitten who will get a gentle, adoring home. I wish we had a boy kitty for her to cuddle with, but her siblings were all gone. She had a brother yesterday, but he is gone already. So...still searching for her pal. I think his name will end up being Antony (Tony). Heh.
ETA: I think I found her a pal. So freaking adorable....
