Tommorrow, I must scrub toilets that have not been scrubbed in seven weeks. Yes, you heard that right. Seven weeks. Apparently scrubbing toilet bowls is not in my dear husband's repartoire. He cleaned the toilet seats, but not the bowls.

I'm afraid of them. I'm pretty sure they will never be white and shining again.

This will teach me not to leave home for seven weeks in the future, I think.

Alka seltzer is really good on toilets. Please do not ask me how I know.

Then again, I've never waited 7 weeks to clean one.

Soft-scrub and a good toilet brush.

Seven weeks is nothin'.

i'm a big fan of using comet in a dirty toilet. i am a freak about cleaning mine. my house may be in shables, but the toilet is always clean :) granted, if i left for seven weeks, nothing would happen to mine either. :)

but, yeah, when i moved in here the toilet was g-r-o-s-s. i used comet, some rubber gloves, and some elbow grease and its white now!

just make sure you use the plunger to get the water level down so the comet doesn't get all diluted. then go to town with a rough testured cloth and comet with bleach.
