Sep. 14th, 2005 01:26 pmLuci, for the first time in probably at least two months (I'll have to check, I think I wrote down the last time she did it), slept through the night. She slept from about 8:45pm until 6:30am without a whimper. I slept in my own bed, with my husband. I don't remember even turning over all night. Miraculous.
I have no car today and it is very frustrating. I never want to go anywhere, until I don't have a car. Now I want to make minestrone for dinner and I'm missing about four ingredients and can't get to the store. And won't be able to until Brad gets home tonight, since he has to pick up the car. So...what vegan thing can I make for dinner with what I have on hand? Hmmm...I have very little canned stuff, no cooked beans and it is too late to cook them, no rice...I have some frozen corn the cob, green beans, carrots and peas. Very little in fresh veggie department. No onions...can't imagine a veggie soup without onions. Ugh. It may be spaghetti again tonight. I'm so tired of spaghetti on fasting days. I'm so ridiculously inept at cooking as it is, fasting still throws me for a loop.
