Good timing for this to appear on my flist today...

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

(no subject)

In the last hour I:
loaded the dishwasher from scratch and started it
put in a load of laundry
folded and put away a load of laundry
picked up the living room, kitchen area, and entryway
vacuumed all of the above
got drinks for all my children
took Luci to the bathroom twice
intervened in at least three sibling tiffs.

Does this seem like a lot for an hour? It does to me. I don't think I usually do that much in an hour. Maybe I do. I don't know. I just feel bushed all of a sudden and looked back to see why and thought...well, that is why!


Now I need to get dinner started and clean up the playroom. The playroom is going to take awhile and will probably not be completed before Brad gets home. Annoying that. Grrrr.

I REALLY hope I get to work out tonight. I need the energy and endorphins.
