Jul. 24th, 2006 09:57 pmWhat have I not written about that has happened recently? Lets see...
Mari's first loose tooth (bottom front) still hasn't fallen out and now her big tooth is coming in behind it. I called a dentist who said to wait two more weeks and then take her in as the baby tooth may have to be pulled. By the way..that big tooth? It is HUGE! She is going to look so strange with big teeth! I'm not ready for that yet!!!
Mari got her ears pierced while my sister and her kids were here. Bennett, who is four months younger than Mari, has her ears pierced and Mari wanted to do it. Zoe said she did too, but she chickened out. Mari did not chicken out, but she cried when they did it. It was horrible! But it has been about two weeks now and no signs of problems or infections. Even though she managed to pull one of them out by getting her hair tangled around it and I had to put it back in...not fun.
One of Zoe's front bottom teeth is a little bit loose too. I think it will be months before she loses it, but I was just curious and so checked her teeth and sure enough the same bottom tooth that Mari is about to lose moved a little when I pushed on it really gently.
Zoe has become quite social with the kids who live next door to my parents. There is a six year old girl and a three year old boy. She avoided them like the plague when they came over to play with Mari and Luci for weeks and now she asks first thing in the morning if she can go find Amelia and Ethan. Very funny. There are lots of kids in our new neighborhood in Virginia, so I'm excited to see her enjoying other kids.
Zoe is taller than Mari right now. Not by much...but she is definately taller. This is weird when you watch them together because she really acts and talks so much younger than Mari.
Luci has grown. She is getting really leggy and tall. She is going to outgrow all her dresses before summer is over I'm afraid. 4T dresses are hitting right abover her knees now!! But bigger stuff just hangs on her.
