Aug. 24th, 2007 01:22 pmLuci was still holding onto the vestiges of some mispronunciations last I checked, but since we got home from Kansas they seem to all have disappeared! My sisters and I have often commented on these developmental leaps all our kids seem to take after these long vacations. But I'm very sad about this one. I loved those funny words she used. I must record the last ones for posterity...
crayon = "crou-lyn" (ou as in ouch)
excuse me = buh scuse me
l pronounced as y (Luci-Yuci, loud-youd)
r pronounced as w (run-won, rabbit-wabbit)
I suppose it is high time that she lose these, she is four and a half, but my goodness! Must it happen so suddenly? I'm really going to miss "buh scuse me".
