Aug. 25th, 2007 11:19 pmBrad and I hired the girl next door to babysit and went on a date tonight.
We went in a minivan.
We bought a table for homeschooling purposes at IKEA.
We ate pizza.
We went to Borders books and bought a book. One.
We are old and pathetic.
I remember the days when we would have gone dancing. I would have had long island ice teas or margaritas. It would have all been very sexy.
Tonight I drank diet coke. No rum in it. We came home and now I'm nursing a migraine and Brad is glued to the TV. Nothing sexy going on here.
I did discover that the Melting Pot, my ALL TIME FAVORITE RESTAURANT of the chain variety, has a 20% discount deal on Monday nights for military. We are definately going to take advantage of that soon. I hope the girl next door's parents will allow her to babysit on a Monday if we promise not to stay out late....
