Ten years later...

When Brad and I got married ten years ago, I could barely cook a box of macaroni and cheese. Seriously. And Brad was worse. He'd never even boiled water to make tea. Seriously. The first few years were rocky as far as the culinary arts were concerned, let me tell you. And I developed a bad complex about my cooking. It got better, but I have remained convinced that I cannot cook.

Ten years later...and I made a GOOD Thanksgiving dinner. Seriously.

Perhaps hanging St. Euphrosynos in my kitchen a few months ago helped. Who knows?

I'm happy for you :) I understand your sense of satisfaction - I had never made Thanksgiving dinner before yesterday, and it was ENORMOUSLY fulfilling to have it turn out well.

Congratulations! Funny story - I had never made Thanksgiving dinner either until last year my son asked for it as his birthday dinner. It took all the pressure off and was great practice!
