Because
rainingkisses did it and it was so much fun to look at, I decided to do it too, even though I did another version earlier. Now I'm really done shopping for the girls so I can post pics of it all. Why? Because it is was so much FUN to shop for them this year. And I want to remember it.
For Maria...
The Only Hearts Club Ballet Studio with two dolls:

and Ricky from the Language Littles series. She thought Lizzie, the doll my mother bought and we took to her when we brought her home from Guatemala, needed a brother and fully expects this one gift for Christmas.

For Zoe...
A wooden stable with four horses and a dog:

and a street rug for her myriad matchbox cars

For Luci...
A CD player/video camera for her "I want to be in a movie" moments. She has them a lot lately.

Some knock and fall dominos

and to round it out and because she is a rag doll fanatic

I am so excited about those Raggedy dolls. I found them on ebay (I paid $13.00 with shipping!) and they are copies of the original dolls, like straight out of the books. With brown hair and everything. R. Ann even has the top knot on her head. I can't wait to see these guys.
So, yeah. Luci has three gifts instead of two, but that was because of the money factor and because I was concerned she couldn't actually PLAY with her CD player/video camera right away and would throw a fit about it. So I wanted something that she could actually play with right away. I'm so excited about the gift side of this Christmas for some reason. I think because the girls are old enough that they know about it and we've talked so much about why we give gifts and Christmas and...I don't know. This is a happy Christmas this year. Indulge my materialism if you don't mind.

Date: 2006-12-13 05:46 pm (UTC)And I just hope those dolls are in as good shape as they were described. They look great in the picture and it is an incredible deal, but I'm sure you know how that goes. I'm always a tad nervous about ebay...
