The wonders of the internet...

I just looked up the history of soy sauce and wine because of the conversation Brad and I were having at dinner tonight. It is amazing how you can find the answers to just about any question in a matter of seconds by typing a few simple words in a search engine online. I guess I'm actually old enough not to quite take this for granted.

My children will take this for granted.

Our connection was down for about 4 days, a couple of weeks ago, and it was crippling. Which is RIDICULOUS, I never would have said that 5 years ago (I didn't even own a computer then...) But now it's like - How can we go anywhere? We can't MapQuest directions, we can't look up admission prices, we can't check the weather. Didn't people used to have alternate ways of doing these things? What were they?
