Is Sunday the Sabbath? Or is that still Saturday? Because Sunday is sure not a day of rest around here.

We went to church this morning. We were actually on time. Today was the first day of Sunday School for the school year. Maria and Zoe are in the 1st-2nd grade class and Luci is in the PreK-K class. They were all really excited to go. So church starts at 10am. We leave the house at 9:30 and are usually a few minutes late as it takes a solid half hour to get there. Sunday School is right after Liturgy and is usually over by 12:30. Coffee hour is heavy at our church and the kids get food and take it with them to Sunday School, so that usually suffices for lunch. We let the girls hang out and play with the other kids for a few minutes and then shooed them to the car. We were home by about 1:30pm. I changed them out of their dresses and then put back out to the car for swimming lessons. Brad stayed here because a guy came to look at the house, a prospective renter for after we move out. Zoe's swimming lesson is at 2pm, the other girls are at 3pm, and we decided it was easiest to just stay at the pool and let the girls swim when they aren't in lessons. I have to be in the water with them, as the pool is 4ft deep or more everywhere, so none of them can touch. I let Maria and Luci play in the water while Zoe had her half hour lesson. Then they all played together for about 15 minutes. At 2:45 I made them get out and rest and get a snack (crackers, bananas, and juice boxes were a huge hit, swimming makes you hungry!). Maria and Luci's half hour lesson was at 3pm, and Zoe got back in the water to play for that half hour. After their lesson, we changed in the locker rooms (it was too cool today to go back to the car in damp suits and coverups) and headed home. We were home for about an hour and at 5pm all got back in the car to go to dinner at Chili's just for fun.

When we got home, the girls and I made brownies, we all ate one, and I just got them all in bed. 9pm. That isn't too bad I guess. Now I must go watch another episode of The 4400 with Brad. I need the break. I'm exhausted...

Tell me about The 4400. We don't get cable, so I don't know anything about it.

4400 people are "abducted" from about 1945 to present day. Then, suddenly, all 4400 are returned on the same day in a ball of light. They have to try and fit in and build new lives, many of them many years in the future from when they left. None of them seem to have any memories of where they were or what happened to them. None of them have any sense of time having passed. Some of them have new supernatural seeming "abilities".

It isn't the best sci-fi show I've ever seen, but it is highly entertaining so far. It is in its fourth season on the USA channel, but we are only up to the middle of season two from Netflix. It has some great characters and plot twists.

Wow that is a busy day, but it sounds productive and nice.
