Have you seen the movie Brother Bear? I know it is old. But I'd never watched it until recently. I'm just blown away by it. It is amazing and I don't know why more people don't talk about it. I want my kids to watch it over and over. Eventually maybe I'll get through it without crying and we can talk about it. You know, I'd heard it was mostly about respecting nature and how we are brothers with the animals and all that stuff, but that is not really what the movie is about. It is not at all what I got out of it anyway. It is about repentance, forgiveness, and paying for your mistakes. It is about how being sorry is not enough. Some sins are just too big. And they leave scars. It is about sacrifice. It is about love.

I can't stop listening to this song....

"I see the path from this dark place
I see my future
Your forgiveness has set me free
Oh and I can see another way
I can face another day!"

I love that movie, too, and bought it as soon as it came out on DVD. I really should take it out tomorrow and watch it again. It's been a little while.
