My sister's baby is not due until July 7th. Yet I feel as if I cannot wait another day for that baby. I can't even imagine how she is feeling.

I'm having baby dreams again. They need to stop. My new niece just needs to be born so I can cuddle and kiss and coo for awhile and then the baby dreams will stop.

Do you plan to go to the hospital with her or will you be babysitting or some other option I haven't thought of?

Well, we are still hashing that out. I want to be in the delivery room. Kristin said I could even cut the cord if I wanted to since John has always been too squeamish to even look "down there" when his kids were born. But I also want to be truly helpful, and as my mom wants to be at the hospital (though not in the delivery room), I may end up with the kids. Which would truly be fine. I used to desperately want to be at one my sister's births just to see it happen, because I'd never had any experience with childbirth and didn't want to go to my grave without that experience, but then I got to be at Luci's birth and now it is okay. I'll basically do whatever she wants me to do. She would really like to go the no drugs route this time and I've offered my support for that (since John will be useless in that department too). I wish I knew more about how to help her with that so I could honestly pledge my cheerleading, but really I probably won't be much help in the actual delivery room. So...I'll probably take the kids.

Has she read the thinking woman's guide to ... I can't remember if it's pregnancy or labor and delivary? I haven't read a lot, but I've enjoyed the little that I've read so far. I'm skipping around abit, but it's given me the actual science behind a lot of things I've heard.
