Zoe for Life was just mentioned in the comments in my journal. Do you have any experience with them?

Not a ton. They came and spoke to our little mission in Manhattan, KS once. It was a really great and inspiring talk. I've contributed to them and we've talked about using them as a starting point should we ever adopt again. But the thing I really LOVE about them and that I really want to do someday is that they place unmarried, pregnant young woman with families that they can live with for up to a year and go to school and learn how to care for young children and babies and the family will just generally be a support and resource for the woman. Mentoring basically. I want to do this SO BAD.

That is a GREAT idea. I'd love to do that someday too. And that's very interesting news that they're in charge of Hogar adoptions. I've thought quite a bit about adopting from the Hogar someday. Do you know if Guatamala/US adoptions have been cleared up? I heard that they had been shut down, and haven't heard about any resolution.

Zoe for Life is also now in charge of all adoption from the Hogar Rafael Ayau to the US.

Thanks sweetie =) OCMC might be sending us some volunteers to help with the SE Asia diocese!
