Went to confession this morning. It was good, as always. So much peace available if we just go get it. I hate that I keep not going to get it.

I used to dither about confession - especially at a time when I needed it most and we had rotating priests in the parish. I found a monk and I'm amazed at the difference in confession - in me, not so much in the confessor. I hope that wherever you settle in the next year that you find a confessor that you want to see, so that you won't have this recurring struggle.

Is there a website that let's us email our future selves? We could send ourselves reminders. Kizmet, keep the fast. Dama, go to confession. Wouldn't that be weird?
