Did you try craigslist? We just picked up a complete calvert homeschooling curriculum on there. It probably depends on how active the CL is in your area though! :)

payment sent...

p.s. please use the cheapest postal rate (media mail, probably) even if they say it will take weeks and weeks... it usually doesn't take that long.

I tried to figure media mail when I made the prices. So that is what I was planning. Glad you don't mind!

MDC has a pretty good selection of homeschooling and general for sale boards. I've bought things there before, though never sold (and it's been awhile).

We actually never used it. Well, we read the book, just never used the activity guide. It is the one from the writer of The Well Trained Mind. If you want it, let me know and I'll send you my paypal email.

Did you like using Story of the World? We may use that eventually.

It was a good intro to teaching history. I think it would be great for someone who isn't particularly into history to use, who wants something short and concise and scripted. But history is my "thing" so it wasn't a good fit for me. We are using this now: http://www.donnayoung.org/history/chotw-p.htm, along with Homeschooling in the Woods timeline figures and various activities, mostly from the Usborne books on those lists.

You did! Probably won't go out until tomorrow as it is snowing here and I don't feel like braving the weather with a sick kiddo.

We use the activity book, and IT IS AWESOME. Seriously, all 3 of my schooled children say history is their favorite subject to do.
