I took a small video of the girls skiing yesterday. Maria is wearing blue, Zoe is in brown and pink, Luci is in teal. Brad is following them in red. It isn't as good as I'd like, I had a hard time following Maria and Zoe, but it gives you some idea of the girls skiing skills now. Maria and Zoe, while still wedging their way downhill, are totally confident on just about any blue level (intermediate, for non skiers) slope. Luci would prefer green (beginner) slopes as steepness still scares her, but she made it all the way down the final blue level slope of the mountain for the first time in the video without any help from dad and without falling. Just a month ago she basically slid down this hill either on her bottom or hanging on to Brad's arm for dear life. She was very excited to do it all by herself!

This is what happens to me when I am left alone in the cold while my family skis. Fur beast!

This is a terrible picture, but it is the only one I managed to get of Luci in her costume for the Alice in Wonderland ballet on December 12th. She is the taller girl in the middle with the blue flower costume. She was not fond of this costume, but she looked adorable.
