I'm going to see Harry Potter tonight! Yay!
I'm going all alone. *sigh*
It will be weird to go to movie alone. I haven't done that in several years. Come to think of it, the last time was the last HP movie. I am totally alone in my HP obsession in this house. I can't wait to share the books with the girls. They were intense for me though, so I'm waiting a few years and hoping to use them as incentive to get THEM to read...hah! It certainly worked for a lot of other young people out there!

Date: 2007-07-14 12:43 pm (UTC)Your kids (A and A) are a lot more mature than my kids(M and Z) in some ways. Emotionally anyway. Having met them and read about them in your journal for a long time now, I can say this with conviction. I used to read about the conversations you guys had and the books you were reading and think, "geez, I better get on the ball, we are so far behind" and then I realized how, well, out of the ordinary you are and Grant is and realized that your children are too. Don't get me wrong, my kids are bright, amazing people. I think all three of them have genius in them in different ways.
I hope you didn't think I was disapproving of your taking your kids to the movie. I'm sorry if it sounded that way. I think it is awesome you can share stuff like this with your kids!
